Our journey began when two creatives from very different backgrounds came together, combining a love for design, craftsmanship, and movement. What started as playful experiments with wires and geometric shapes quickly grew into a shared vision: to create jewelry that celebrates individuality, joy, and community.

The name Gonji comes from “Gonjeshk”, the Farsi word for sparrow. Sparrows may be small, but they are resilient, free-spirited, and always present in everyday life — just like our pieces. The sparrow became the heart of our identity: a symbol of freedom, movement, and belonging.
